The Estate Grenache is made entirely from fruit grown on our estate vineyard, tucked into the slopes of Folded Hills. Grower Ruben Solorzano meticulously farms the site. Together, Ruben and winemaker Angela Osborne shepherd the grapes, and Angela selects the optimal harvest moment.
The fruit is de-stemmed, and a small portion of whole cluster is included to bring delicate spice and structure to the wine. Throughout fermentation, the Grenache is foot tread to integrate the structure of the whole berries with the flavor of the variety. The wine is hand-selected from the best Grenache barrels from the 2017 harvest. It is aged for 11 months in French oak barrels, in 100% neutral French barrique to enhance texture and depth in the wine while preserving the purity and transparency of the site.
Showcases pretty red fruit flavors, with hints of citrus flower and bergamot. It is vibrant and lively with beautiful ripe fruit.
