2017 Estate Syrah 1.5L
This Syrah is the first-ever vintage from our Folded Hills estate and Winemaker Angela Osborne's light hand is evident in this delightfully well balanced Syrah. It immediately entices your senses with aromatics of exotic perfumes, white pepper, and cedar. The palate is mixed through with blackberry jam, and cedar with hints of licorice. This wine is deep and powerful yet vibrant with acidity and energy, the epitome of a cool climate Syrah.
It is not too overpowering for chicken dishes and beautifully rounds out most red meats dishes. We highly recommend drinking this with close friends and decanting this wine for optimal expressions.

A standout wine. More depth and richness than just about every other wine. Beautiful notes of gamey black fruits, crushed flowers, tapenade, and pepper all flow to a medium-bodied Syrah that has an awesome texture, ultra-fine tannins, no hard edges, and a great finish. It's already impossible to resist, yet I suspect it will keep for a decade or more. It's hands down the top wine here.

Loaded with character. Bold, savory and so expressive, the 2017 has so much to offer. This is such a pretty wine.
