2021 "00" Syrah

Syrah is a versatile grape that responds to a wide range of winemaking techniques yet can also be reflective of the site where it is grown (aka “terroir”). This Nouveau-style Syrah was produced using an almost extreme approach to low intervention winemaking known as “sans soufre” where no sulfur compounds are used in the winemaking process, allowing only the natural sulfites in the grape to provide protection from oxidation and spoilage.

This bright, fresh wine is best enjoyed young and slightly chilled and is a great accompaniment to cheeses and backyard barbecues.
