The Estate Grenache is made entirely from fruit grown on our estate vineyard, tucked into the slopes of Folded Hills. The site is meticulously farmed by grower Ruben Solorzano. Together, Ruben and winemaker Michael Brughelli shepherd the grapes, and Michael selects the optimal moment for harvest.
Sourced from our LAWN and Golden Eagle parcels, the fruit was cold soaked for 3 days prior to warming the must and allowing native fermentation to commence. After 18 days on skins, these were pressed and aged for 14 months in a touch of new French oak, to enhance texture and depth in the wine, while preserving the purity and transparency of the site.
