2023 Clyde Red Blend

Once upon a time, the name Busch went hand in hand with beer, baseball, and Clydesdales. Now, we’ve added wine to that delightful mix. Clyde is a blend of estate-grown Grenache and Syrah and pairs well with brats, BBQ, and baseball. Bring home a winner with Clyde at any table.
After harvest, the fruit is carefully de-stemmed. In order to add another layer of spice and structure, a portion of whole cluster is retained. All fermentation happens naturally with ambient yeast. To preserve freshness and vibrancy, the wine is aged for 10 months in neutral French oak barrels.
Tasting Notes
Ruby in color, the nose of this “Clyde" is packed to the brim with black cherry, ripe strawberry, and plum with a touch of cinnamon and a kiss of violet. The pallet showing earthier than the nose, opens up into notes of dark cocoa, juicy blackberry, pink peppercorn, and pomegranate with a finish of bountiful Christmas spices.
Pairing Recommendation
Fire up the grill—Clyde’s bold fruit and spice make it the perfect match for smoky bratwursts, barbecue ribs, or a ballpark hot dog with all the fixings.
