2018 Grant Grenache - 93 pts & Editor's Choice, Wine Enthusiast
Our Grant Grenache takes its name not only from Grant’s Farm, our ancestral home but also from President Ulysses S. Grant, who was its original Farmsteader. Aromatics of dusty pomegranate and cherry carry into the mouth, alongside savory herbs and light tobacco accents. The tannins are lightly tactile and palate-cleansing, while the acidity is glittering and mouthwatering, both carrying into a refreshing finish.
This medium-bodied Grenache would love a bit of smoke, so we suggest enjoying the Grant Grenache with fresh grilled vegetables served alongside risotto. It’s a perfect transition wine; with the freshness for enjoying while grilling outside in a late summer afternoon, and the structure to carry through your meal.
2020 August White
Delivering both freshness and richness, the Folded Hills August White is a perfect balance of Viognier, Grenache Blanc, Clairette Blanche, and Roussanne. This wine is mineral-driven, showcasing beautiful notes of white peach, hints of citrus, chamomile flower, and layers of beeswax. The 2020 August White is a beautiful balance of acidity and brightness amongst the fruit varietals.

With dusty and spiced aromatics showcasing a mix of red and black fruits, the August Red picks up flavors of black tea, exotic perfumes, and smoke as it moves into the palate. With lightly tactile tannin and lingering acidity, this Syrah-Grenache blend offers plenty of flavor through a nimble frame.
